Feathers Eco-Birding Tours is a Honduran based enterprise working out of Tegucigalpa, the capital city of Honduras. We offer responsible quality worry-free tours (deluxe to budget) all over the country, led by certified and experienced guides. We cater to all your needs from the moment you arrive in Honduras, so you can have an awesome journey on your visit to our beautiful country.

In our tours you’ll find a variety of colorful tropical birds. We take you to specific birding regions and great hotspots for wildlife observation all over Honduras.

Feathers Birding is a member of the Honduran Ornithology Association (ASHO) and the Private Natural reserves Network (REHNAP), which promotes and contributes to Honduras’ wildlife and habitat conservation.

Gilberto Flores-Walter

Gilberto is a certified bilingual specialized birdwatching guide and coffee entrepreneur, with a B.A. in Eco-tourism. He is a member of the Honduran Ornithology Association (ASHO) and the Private Natural Reserves Network (REHNAP), actual coordinator of the Alzacuanes Birdwatching Club of Francisco Morazán. Presently he is involved in research projects in the Apagüíz-Apapuerta mountain range, using photography as a tool for conservation. Gilberto has experience leading small groups all over Honduras with his company Feathers Eco-Birding Tour Operator.
